It's about time this is updated! :)

Chelle, Shawn, and the family made it to Jasper for general conference this last weekend. It was a lot of fun getting to see all of them.
a few things I remember from this weekend...
- I was sitting with Hiedi and Tavian while they were eating dinner, and Tavain (who is now 17 months old) was just rambling on in a language that I don't understand. He would say something and then duck his little head and begin to giggle. This happened repeatedly and I knew Tavian was telling me a vivid story of some sort because of the way he was waving his hands and giggling while he was talking. Since I couldn't understand a thing he was trying to say, I asked Hiedi what Tavian was telling me about. Hiedi answered me immediatly and told me Tavian was telling me about his dream. After Hiedi told me this I looked at Tavian and asked him, "Tavian, are you telling me about your dream?"... I was answered with very enthusiastic head nodding from him.
If anybody wants to know what little toddler boys dream about don't ask me. All I know is that they must be pretty funny... hmm, maybe Hiedi knows.

- Chelle and I were sitting on the couch when Ashley came in the room with a very pained look on her face. She looked at Chelle and said, in a hushed voice, "mom, don't feed me tomorrow okay" . Apparently Ashley had overeaten that day and filled her little tummy to it's fullest... even the thought of eating anything was too much for her and she told us about her plans not to eat anything the next day.
I have a few more little amusing memories (like playing chess with Hiedi who had the nerve to accuse me of cheating... she's only 3 yrs. old! She doesn't even know how to play chess! :)
All eight of Chelle and Shawns kids make me laugh... when they come to visit it is so amusing just watching them all enteract with eachother.

Amymarie's baptism

There will be more pictures that were taken on Sunday the 3rd coming soon.. (maybe)
For now these two will suffice.

In this picture: Shawn, Amymarie, and Chelle

In this picture: the same people as the picture above.
While this picture was being taken, we (the rest of the family in the hallway) were trying to get Shawn, Amymarie, and Chelle to laugh (or to not look so posed). Chelle was looking towards that direction and laughing because Sam had just run by (in a wierd way) trying to get them to laugh (or be more natural looking) for the picture.

My Apologies

I have been terrible about keeping up with this blog for my sister and her family. I could come up with a whole bunch of excuses, but that wouldn't do any good. (even though some of them are really good excuses)

okay, now for Chelle and her family...

On May 30, the Wilcox family came down for Isaac's graduation. It was great to see them because they keep everything exciting (how could it not be exciting with eight kids?!!)

Isaac and Chelle
Timothy, Isaac, BreeAwnnah, Amymarie, and Alanna
Heidi, Isaac, and Shawn

Also while Chelle and Shawn were down for the graduation, Tavian took his first real steps and began walking!!!

The Wilcox family also visited us in June. Here are some pictures from that visit-
Ashley and Tavian
Alanna and Amymarie
BreeAwnnah, Amymarie, Alanna, Heidi, and Ashley (who is mischievously giving bunny ears to Hiedi)
Ashley
Chelle!
We have about 500 (recent) pictures of the Wilcox family on our computer and I am hoping to put some of them up soon. There are some really, really good ones that made me laugh when I saw them.
Well, I think this blog entry will suffice for right now and I will be updating it soon (soon meaning sooner then last time :)
